It feels so good to be home after a busy weekend away with the babies. Traveling with little ones is not for the faint of heart.
But the memories are totally worth it. My Monday plans so far consist of leggings, coffee, the couch, and these super easy date balls.
Lots of simple carbs were had by all this past weekend. So we’re doing a little fam clean eating detox.
Six ingredients. All of these things are household staples for me. Especially PB.
All hands on deck. Yet another one bowl recipe, lazy cooks unite.
My Mom gave me this mini food processor/emulsifier a few years ago. I actually forgot I had it, but the kids just loved using it today.
“That looks like poop!” There is never a shortage of poop/fart jokes or comments in this house. I have no idea where these kids learn this from.
Simply add all of the ingredients to the bowl, mix on high for a few minutes until a ball forms, remove and roll into smaller balls. Or bigger ones. Your call on ball size.
Mid-morning snack, check. The kids think they got a huge treat. Healthy babies = happy Momma.
I sat down and ate mine with my coffee. Hank smashed his into his pants, and then ate the pieces. I’d recommend my method.
But if you’re feeling crazy, you can cram 3 in your mouth at once, like John. This kid can pull off any look, lady killer.

- 6 Medjool dates, pitted
- 4 T organic, crunchy peanut butter
- 1/2 shredded coconut, unsweetened
- 2 T honey
- 1 T chia seeds
- 2 scoops Dutch Chocolate Complete powder
- Add all ingredients to the bowl of a food processor and mix on high for 1-2 minutes or until a ball forms in the bowl.
- Remove the mixture from the food processor bowl and roll into 1″ balls.
- Serve or refrigerate
